Woke up this morning feeling like I need more of You
My prayer life hasn't been on point
Lord, I'm just telling You the truth
I have so much on my mind sometimes
I don't know where to start
Closing my eyes
Folding my hands-scratch that
I'm coming from the heart
I write this poetry not for people to see
I write this poetry because it sets me free

You've given me a gift
And people may not understand
I don't write poetry just because I can
You made the blind see
You made the lame walk
You gave me poetry
And now I can talk
Communicate
Interact
And pray

Talk to You freely
Communicate independently
Interact knowingly
Praying fervently

You, me, and poetry
A divine connection
You, me, and poetry
Keeps me in subjection

I worship you my King
I worship you my Lord
You are everything to me
Awesome and wonderful
Caring and mindful
Glorious and powerful
Amazing
You are everything to me

I will praise you Oh Lord
with my whole heart
I'm thanking You
I'm writing the book on your wonders
I will show forth and tell aloud
Your marvelous works
You remain and continue forever
You've prepared and established your throne
I'm whistling, laughing, and jumping for joy
I'm singing you a new song oh Lord

I worship you my King

You are everything to me
Awesome and wonderful
Caring and mindful
Glorious and powerful
Amazing
You are everything to me

You judge the world in righteousness
And you bring justice to the people
You blow the whistle on godless nations
you throw dirty players out the game
Wipe their names right off the roster
Erased from the halls of fame
Lord you are a refuge and high tower for the oppressed
A refuge and stronghold in the times of our own mess
And those of us who know your name
and have experienced your mercy
We continue to lean on and confidently trust in You
For You have not forsaken
Those who seek You and your word
So I sing praises to You oh Lord

Your mercy and your grace
I consider all your ways
and ponder how I can show forth your praise
In the courts and in the sanctuary

There's only One who deserves
The highest praises, honor, and glory
The only One who is Alpha and Omega
The only One true Son and King
The Messiah, Jesus Christ the anointed One
Who is my everything

I prepare a prayer for you

Wickeness and sin
Nor the evil man

But as for me
I will enter your house
with Thanksgiving
and praise.

in your Holy Temple
In reverential fear
and awe of You

You are my refuge
I put my trust in You
I rejoice and sing
and shout for joy.

You're my covering
and my defender
Lord I love your name
I want to bask in your splendor

No longer in confinement
nor under restraints
no powers to determine my actions
released from ties
bondage and
obligations
Immunity
Privilegde
My civil liberty
my special right
enjoying every moment
because I have the power to excersize Choice.
Emancipated
liberated
authorized
unrestricted
unleashed.
Freed to Love
for eveything we know about God's word is summed up in a single phrase
Love otheres as You love yourself.

Burnin'

I can feel the fire in my belly.
It's about to burst in flames.
God, You've ignited my passion.
My passion to know You more
My passion to serve You
completely with a joyful heart.
I thank You for teaching me
to walk in the fruits of the spirit.
They lead me in the way of righteousness
helping me to stay focused on my true purpose.
Jesus I love You so much
Sunday mornings
wednesday nights
are not enough.
There's so much more to know
so much more to understand
Lord, draw me closer to You.
My heart is yearning for You
my mind is thirsty for You
my body is ready to worship You.
Father, I'm so serious right now
I've never been this serious in my life.
I want more of you God
I'm tired of the seesaw
I'm ready for intimacy everlasting
Do I know what I'm in store for?
No
but I'm in it for the ride of my life.
You set a flame on the inside of me God
and You are the only One who can put it out.
My passion is fixed on You Jesus
Be consuming fire of my life.
I want You that bad.

Falling in Love Again For the Very First Time

It's 2009 and all I can think about is your divine touch.
No more mood swings for me
just praise from my lips
to rejoice in how You set me free.
Free from my vivid imagination
No more thoughts of suicide
or mental frustrations.
You've renewed my mind and now all I can think about is a celebration.
Celebrating the life that You've given me.
Peace
Joy
Compassion and
Humility
I'm no longer prideful because I know that You know what's best for me.
So now and forever I submit to Your authority
not only as the ruler of my life but
my Savior, and Spiritual Daddy.
God I love You so much
I can't wait 'till eternity.
I want more of You this year.
This is my greatest desire
to bask in Your presence at all times.
Father it is You that I admire
Friends come and go but Lord
You are more than that to me
This may sound like a cliche
but You are the only One I need.
Reveal Yourself to me in every situation

this is mt supplication.
My prayer is to know what it is to love You
with all my heart and mind
My prayer is to worship fully and reverently fear You
be in awe of You
go goo goo ga ga over You.
So God I thank you
For this opportunity to Love.
